Dave's latest album is called Dead Bird for Dinner. The Protagonists feature Matt B. (drums), Eric Schmider (guitar), Joe Klompus (bass), Tim Obetz (pedal steel), Meredith Cooper (violin) and Fran Betlyon (vocals). Formerly a member of The Details, The Shods, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and The Pills, Dave has toured much of the US, the United Kingdom, and Australia, and his music has been featured on NPR. As a keyboard player for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones he has performed on MTV, Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Late Show with David Letterman.
